Mathematics and statistics are the two areas that many people fear to tread. Science relies heavily on mathematics and statistics is used by everyone to measure their success and even for running governments! Such essential subjects should be studied religiously and practiced but many people simply choose the easiest part of ignoring these subjects in school. A child begins to like a subject if he is taught that subject by a kind and a patient teacher.

Few teachers would get worked up if their students fail to understand a sum or a process of solving a problem in one attempt. Such a pain it would be for the students who would possibly have asked a path-breaking question or might have actually solved a sum in a far easier or practical manner!

It not only helps the child in studying maths as a subject, but it would also open him up to a world of reasoning and logic. So, allowing a child to ask questions and clarifying the same thing over and over again is actually making the child a matured person, who would not simply go by the norms that exist in the world, rather, they would enable him to ask the main question, “WHY” which is the root of science and human development. Mathematics is made to be loved, and questioned.
